Bio
I graduated from high school at the age of 8, immediately enrolling myself in an pre-med undergraduate program which I finished by 10. Med school took me 4 years and when I was 14, I accepted a full time position at Mercy Hospital in New York City. I stayed there for 5 years. At the age of 19, I thought I'd seen and done it all. I was burnt out. Having a mid-life crisis before I was even old enough to buy beer. So I cashed out all my bonds and stocks and flew to Amsterdam. I thought I'd just see the sites for a little while. I smoked a few drugs, a habit I'd acquired to calm my nerves after big exams when I was going to classes with kids 10 years older than me. I tried my hand at prostition. It didn't take. I tried transcendental meditation with a guru peddling magic mushrooms and it piqued my interest in trying the real thing, so I dumped the bong out of my suitcase and left for Tibet. What I found there is really indescribable at this point in my life. I so caught myself up in meditations and ponderings that I nearly blew a gasket, for lack of a more perfect description. Two weeks prior to my 21st birthday, I flew back to the States on a Chinese Airline, where I met the love of my life. He was a high powered businessman in China, born to an American father and a Chinese mother in Brooklyn and sent back to live with his extended relatives when his mother died. He knew no Chinese until the age of 13. I took a job for a short while after our marraige as a pediatrician, but I just didn't feel complete treating children, so I went back to school and finished a post-doctorate degree in Genetic Rehabilitation and Therapy. I now run my own clinic in Minneapolis half the year for people interested in changing their destiny. My husband is a stock broker and spends most of his time on Wall Street, so I go there to live with him 5 months out of the year. We have a free month together, which we usually spend at our summer house in the Hampdens or at our recently purchased ranch in Northern California.
